My name is Mr. Rhodes and I am the new principal at Damon Elementary School.

I am very excited to get to meet you on August 21^st at 6:00p.m. at our “Meet the Teacher” night.

Your teacher has been working very hard this summer getting ready for your arrival. You can bring all of your new school supplies on this evening and put them in your desk.

Be watching for Open House Meet the Teacher information.  Open House will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21st, at 6:00 p.m.

Applications for trustee election are available from the school office from July 27-Aug. 26th.  Four full term positions and one unexpired term position are up for election.  Last day to file is Tuesday, Aug. 26th, at 5:00 p.m.

The Damon School staff holds high expectations for all students and believes that each of our students, regardless of their academic achievement, can learn and achieve mastery of basic reading, math, and writing skills.

We are firm in our conviction that our school's primary goal is to provide quality instruction to all students so they can reach their highest levels of academic achievement, while at the same time, developing responsible citizenship and caring attitudes about others.
